Annual Community Service Fair Offers Students Volunteer Opportunities

Elmira, NY (01/18/2019) — The Office of Career Services will be hosting the annual Community Service Fair on Tuesday, January 22 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., in Stephans Lounge.

This year's fair will host over 25 different organizations from which students can choose for community service hours. All full-time students at Elmira College must complete 60 hours of community service in a local non-profit service organization. Students are highly encouraged to attend in order to, not only fulfill their community service requirement, but also to learn about opportunities that help instill civic responsibility, immerse students in the local area, and which help strengthen the community of Elmira.
