Center for Mark Twain Studies Accepting Entries for Annual Student Competitions

Elmira, NY (01/15/2019) — The Center for Mark Twain Studies has announced that entries are now being accepted for the 26th Annual Mark Twain Writing Contest and the 3rd Annual "Portraying Mark Twain" Art Competition.

Academic essays and creative writing pieces may be submitted to the Mark Twain Writing Contest, which focuses on excellent student writing related to Mark Twain, his life, works, and times. Essays should be submitted to Joe Lemak, director of CMTS, at jlemak@elmira.edu, no later than February 15, 2019.

Entries to the "Portraying Mark Twain" Art Competition can include visual arts in all mediums and genres. The deadline for entry is March 30, 2019, and additional information can be found online.
