Family Weekend, November 1-3
Elmira, NY (10/18/2019) — For many students, family weekend is a favorite time as they welcome family and friends to campus for a weekend full of great activities for students and their families to partake in.
On Friday, check-in begins at 3:00 p.m. in the Campus Center, followed by dinner in the Dining Hall from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Families can then choose between a men's hockey game at the Murray Athletic Center, or Dueling Pianos in MacKenzie's, both of which begin at 7:00 p.m.
On Saturday, check-in begins at 8:00 a.m., followed by Breakfast with the Lindsay's starting at 9:00 a.m. in the 1855 House (formerly the Admissions House). Please note seating is limited for the breakfast and reservations must be made with George Kuntz, gkuntz@elmira.edu. Throughout the day, students and families can choose from a variety of events including informational sessions, sporting events, bingo, and much more.
Sunday concludes the weekend with a family brunch starting at 10:00 a.m. in the Campus Center Dining Hall.
Throughout the weekend families can enjoy special admission rates for the Wings of Eagles Discovery Center and the Corning Museum of Glass (CMOG). Simply show an Elmira College student ID at the ticket counter and mention Elmira College Family Weekend.
