Brianna Brooks Recognized at Elmira College Annual Honors Banquet

Elmira College held its annual Academic Honors and Student Recognition Banquet, celebrating academic achievement and the contributions of students to clubs and organizations.

Brianna Brooks of Hollis Center was honored at the event and received the Hal Roach, Litt. D. '88 Theatre Prize. The Hal Roach, Litt. D. '88 Theatre Prize is Given by Hal Roach, Litt.D. '88 Sons of the Desert Tent (Elmira) and is presented to a junior or senior theatre major who has demonstrated the potential of a professional career in theatre and film. Hal Roach, a native Elmiran born in 1892, was a Hollywood legend famous for his Our Gang and Laurel & Hardy comedies, and recipient of three Academy Awards..
