Elmira College Recognizes Mary Wavle-Brown '13 of Cortland at Cowles Honor Scholars Celebration

On Thursday, Jan. 31, Elmira College held its 2013 Cowles Honor Scholars Celebration, recognizing 74 Honor Scholars.

Mary Wavle-Brown '13 of Cortland has earned recognition as a Cowles Honor Scholar. Mary is majoring in Nursing and is the mother of Carri Walker, Traci Pier and Kelli Withey and wife of Elizabeth Wavle-Brown.

To achieve standing as a Cowles Honor Scholar, students must be members of the Class of 2013, have attended at least two terms and hold a 3.6 cumulative grade point average.
