Elmira College women's golfer Audrey Clarke of Churchville Earns Recognition from Empire 8 Conference

Audrey Clarke of Churchville was one of three members of the Elmira College women's golf team who received recognition from the Empire 8 Conference following the 2016 E8 Championships.

Audrey Clarke '18, Alyssa Ogden '17, and Giovanna DeLoca '17 were all named Empire 8 All-Conference honorees while leading the Soaring Eagles to a second-place finish at the league championship tournament over the weekend of October 1-2.

Clarke collected a third-place finish at the Empire 8 Conference Championship Tournament, held at the Country Club of Ithaca, resulting in E8 All-Conference First Team recognition. She finished the opening round tied for first with eventual medalist Kimberly Wong of Ithaca College, but concluded the event four strokes shy Wong with a two-day total of 166 (+22). With a second consecutive third-place finish in the conference tournament, Clarke became the first-ever Soaring Eagles women’s golfer to earn E8 All-Conference honors three times in her collegiate career.
