Rachel Rice Graduates from Elmira College

Elmira College held its 158th Commencement on Sunday, June 2nd at the First Arena, in Elmira, New York.

Rachel Rice of Vestal, NY, earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Adolescence Education: Social Studies, History.

Elmira College President Dr. Ronald Champagne presided at the Commencement Exercises, recognizing the graduates, their friends and family, college trustees and administrators, faculty and staff. President Champagne awarded the Honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters to Susan Douglas '72 and the Honorary Doctorate of Letters to Robert Gottlieb '76.

Elmira College awarded three Associate degrees at this year's Commencement. There are one hundred seventy-two graduates who earned Bachelor of Science degrees and ninety graduates who earned Bachelor of Arts degrees.

The College awarded twenty-seven students the Master of Science in Management degree. Fifty-five Master of Science in Education degrees were conferred at this year's Commencement.
