Sarah Kaschalk Awarded Hal Roach, Litt.D. '88 Theatre Prize

Sarah Kaschalk of Horseheads, NY was recently awarded the Elmira College Hal Roach, Litt.D. '88 Theatre Prize. The Prize is given by Hal Roach, Litt.D. '88 Sons of the Desert Tent (Elmira) and presented to a graduating theatre major who has demonstrated the potential of a professional career in theatre and film. Hal Roach, a native Elmiran born in 1892, was a Hollywood legend famous for his "Our Gang" and "Laurel & Hardy" comedies, and receipient of three Academcy Awards.
