Annual Juried Student Art Exhibition Call for Submissions
Elmira, NY (01/02/2019) — Submissions are now being accepted for the Annual Arts Alive Juried Student Art Exhibition, which will be on display March 1-31 in the Gannett-Tripp Library.
Each year, students are encouraged to submit their best works of art and an artist proposal for a chance to have their pieces on display for the month of March in the GTL. One student proposal will be chosen for this select exhibit.. The exhibition is a competitive process for the students that choose to take part, with submissions juried by a professional artist not affiliated with the College.
This year's juror is Laurie Sieverts Snyder. Snyder, an artist photographer, earned her BFA. from the College of Art & Architecture at Cornell University, and her MFA. in photography and video from Syracuse University. Snyder has also taught at several universities, and has been exhibited widely. To learn more about Laurie, visit her website here.
The deadline to submit all required materials for the exhibition is February 19, and all proposals should be sent through campus mail to Jan Kather in the Gannett-Tripp Library. For further details about the exhibition, click here.
