Deadline for Writing Competition Approaching

Elmira, NY (02/08/2019) — The deadline for the 26th Annual Mark Twain Writing Contest, sponsored by the Center for Mark Twain Studies (CMTS), is next Friday, February 15, 2019.

Academic essays and creative writing pieces submitted to the Writing Contest should focus on Mark Twain, his life, works, and times. The contest is open to all Elmira College students.

Essays should be submitted to Dr. Joe Lemak, CMTS director, at jlemak@elmira.edu. For further details, visit marktwainstudies.org.
