EC Theatre, CCHS Present Ghostly Readings in November

Elmira, NY (11/03/2020) — The Elmira College Theatre program and Chemung County Historical Society will present a series of Ghostly Readings, read by EC students, throughout the month of November.

Ghostly Readings is an extension of the annual Ghost Walk hosted by CCHS. During the annual Ghost Walk event, actors portray "ghosts," telling the stories of individuals buried in Elmira's Woodlawn Cemetery as visitors walk through the cemetery. For Ghostly Readings, EC students in the Acting II class selected a monologue from past "ghosts" and recorded themself reading the script. CCHS will post the monologues to its Facebook page throughout November.
