Elmira College Co-Hosts Educational Summit

Elmira, NY (05/14/2019) — On Monday, May 6, Elmira College co-hosted an Education Summit at Corning Community College. The summit featured student presenters, local educators, panel discussions, and a keynote address from Erin Gruwell, author of several books, including The Freedom Writers Diary: How a Teacher and 150 Teens Used Writing to Change Themselves and the World Around Them (1999).

Several EC students attended the summit and had individual poster presentations based on research they completed in the field of education during their time at EC.
