Final Professional Panel Virtual Session to Focus on Entrepreneurs

Elmira, NY (03/12/2021) — The Elmira College Division of Business and Economics Division will host a virtual panel session from noon to 1:00 p.m., on Tuesday, March 16, featuring a meeting and Q&A session with successful entrepreneurs. This session is the final presentation of the Division's 2020-2021 Professional Panel Virtual Series, a series of live, online webinar events for students.

Previous sessions in the series included a faculty discussion as well as meetings with professionals in accounting, business administration, finance and economics, human resources, marketing and management. It provided an opportunity for Elmira College students to meet and interact with real-world experts, ask questions, and learn from their experiences.

Elmira College Corning Incorporated Foundation Chair in Business and Division Chair, Alison Wolfe, Ph.D., noted that this virtual panel series extended the College's tradition of experiential learning in the midst of a challenging pandemic. "Successful business professionals adapt to changing circumstances. This Professional Panel Virtual Series has been a creative and well-received forum for our students to learn and network with leaders in their fields, to gain knowledge to succeed in their own careers."

The March 16 event features leading entrepreneurs from a range of industries discussing their real-life experiences in their fields, and providing practical advice ranging from coursework to career strategies. It will be accessible on Zoom via computer, tablet or smartphone.
