Honoring the Life of Dr. Betsy Smith

Elmira, NY (09/28/2021) — Dr. Betsy Smith was a beloved instructor, friend, family member, and colleague who passed away tragically this past August. In her honor, the College is hosting an on-campus memorial service celebrating her life at 11:45 a.m., Thursday, October 14 in Peterson Chapel, Cowles Hall. The service is an opportunity to honor Betsy and recognize her impact on our lives and her many contributions to the life and work of the College.

Light refreshments will be provided following the service. For those unable to attend in person, the service will be live-streamed on the College's Facebook page.
