Thornton Earns Continuing Education Award

Elmira, NY (02/11/2019) — Associate Professor of Communications Sciences and Disorders, Cathy Thornton, was recently granted the Award for Continuing Education (ACE) from the Continuing Education Board of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

According to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association website, the ACE is a formal recognition of professionals who have demonstrated their commitment to lifelong learning by earning 7.0 ASHA continuing education units (CEUs) (equivalent to 70 contact hours) within a 36-month period. This award marks the seventh ACE Thornton has received.
