#WhatToDoWednesday with Circle K
Elmira, NY (10/24/2018) — It's #WhatToDoWednesday, and Circle K is today's spotlight on student organizations and activities. Elmira College Circle K is part of an international organization of over 13,000 collegiate members. As the collegiate branch of Kiwanis, Circle K does service, leadership, and fellowship projects in the community. The club connects students with community service organizations in the area and also provides opportunities to travel to conferences and learn leadership skills. By joining EC Circle K, you will be making the world a better place one project at a time.
Halloween is a week away and Circle K is partnering with Elmira College Dance Marathon and TEACH to organize the annual "Trick-or-Treat for the Kids" event at Elmira College. Children and their families are invited to trick-or-treat door-to-door in Alumni Hall where the campus community will be giving out candy, hosting activities, and playing games. The event will take place the day before Halloween on Tuesday, October 30 from 4:00-6:00 p.m.
This year, the Elmira Police and Fire Departments will be there showing their trucks and cars! Dress up in a costume and join us for a good time and a good cause.
There will be a $5 per family donation, which will go towards the Children's Miracle Network at Arnot Ogden and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF).
Circle K meets on Thursdays at 4:30 in GTL 114. Follow them on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter for more information and for Club updates.
