Abraham Shabanowitz Mathematics Prize Awarded
Elmira, NY (06/15/2020) — The Abraham Shabanowitz Mathematics Prize was established by Dr. Harry Shabanowitz, Professor Emeritus of Mathematics, in memory of his father. The annual Prize is awarded to a graduating student who shows outstanding achievement in the field of mathematics. This year's recipient is Stephen Gervase '20.
"I am truly honored to receive this award from an esteemed group of professionals in my field of study," said Gervase. "This award will continuously serve as motivation to strive for excellence as I pursue a career in mathematics."
