Alumnae and Alumni Ring Recipients Announced
Elmira, NY (05/28/2020) — Each year, graduating seniors receive honorary awards and position appointments as a part of the Graduating Class Reception. Among these awards and positions are the Alumnae and Alumni Ring recipients.
The alumnae ring is presented to a woman graduate who embodies the spirit of Elmira College. She is chosen based on her Elmira College experience including leadership, service to the College, and to her fellow students.
The tradition is to pass the ring of a distinguished alumna to an outstanding member of the graduating class in recognition of her success. This year's Alumnae Ring recipient is Rachel Berg '20.
"Receiving the Alumnae Ring is a great honor," said Berg. "It represents the ideals Elmira College believes in; and, I am proud to have been able to represent Elmira College over the last four years!"
The Alumni ring is presented each year to a graduating man who represents the spirit of Elmira College. The alumni ring is provided by the Alumni Board of Directors. This year's recipient is Anthony Parrucci '20.
