Annual Juried Student Art Exhibition Submissions Now Open
Elmira, NY (01/10/2020) — Submissions are now being accepted for the Annual Arts Alive Juried Student Art Exhibition, which will be on display March 1-31 in the Gannett-Tripp Library.
Each year, students are encouraged to submit their best works of art and an artist proposal for a chance to have their pieces on display for the month of March in the GTL. One student proposal will be chosen for this select exhibit. The exhibition is a competitive process with submissions juried by a professional artist not affiliated with the College.
This year's juror is Jeremy Foldesy. Foldsey, an artist and studio art professor, earned his MFA from the University of the Arts, his MA and a BA in art and design education illustration from Rhode Island School of Design, and his BA in studio art from Boston College. Foldsey currently lives and works in NYC. To view Jeremy's work, visit his instagram page.
The deadline to submit all required materials for the exhibition is February 15, and all proposals should be sent through campus mail to Jan Kather in the Gannett-Tripp Library. For further details about the exhibition, click here.
