April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month
Elmira, NY (04/01/2020) — April Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) and Elmira College is partnering with the Sexual Assault Resource Center of the Southern Tier region to help raise awareness.
Each week, informative graphics will be shared via the College's social media accounts, providing statistics, guidance, and resources related to SAAM campaign and sexual assault in general.
"Throughout the month, we will be working virtually with our local Sexual Assault Resource Center (SARC) to provide education, support and advocacy for our campus community," said Jen Bozek, campus compliance officer. "Spreading awareness across our social media platforms throughout the month will help educate and assist our campus community on how to get involved."
