Board of Trustees Award Annual Prize
Elmira, NY (05/27/2020) — Each year, the Elmira College Board of Trustees Prize is presented by the Trustees to students whose college experience demonstrates continual growth and development academically, socially, or in service to the College community.
This year, four students have been named recipients: Jesse Adelson '20, Alex VanAernam '20, Jacob Weber '20, and Nicole Hanselman '20.
"I am truly honored to receive the Board of Trustees Prize," said Adelson. "Four years ago I chose to come to Elmira College, and it has been the best decision I have ever made. Through my experiences with on-campus jobs, athletics, and academics, I am beyond thankful for Elmira College shaping me into the person I am today."
Alex VanAernam reflects similar thanks, "This award is such an honor to receive. I feel honored to be recognized by the Board of Trustees for my hard work in academics and my dedication to the Elmira College campus and surrounding community"

"This award not only represents my hard work in academia, but it also demonstrates my drive to help others within my community. I would like to thank the faculty and staff of Elmira College for being excellent role models and always supporting me. Without them, I would not be the student I am today!"
