Burr Appointed SHRM District Director
Elmira, NY (05/02/2019) — Assistant Professor of Business Administration, Matt Burr, was recently appointed a district director with the New York State Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM). In this role, Burr oversees the Elmira, Corning, Ithaca, and Binghamton chapters (southwest region) of the society.
Burr, an active member with SHRM, also recently volunteered at a student case competition hosted by the Genesee Valley Chapter of SHRM at St. John Fisher College. Burr also recently volunteered at Watkins Glen High School where he hosted mock interviews with students.
