Burr Earns HR Certifications
Elmira, NY (06/12/2020) — Assistant Professor of Business Administration, Matt Burr, recently completed two additional certificates within the field of human resources, Virtual Workplace Coaching & Mentoring certification and Employing Abilities at Work Certificate. Both certificates were developed by the Society for Human Resource Management with collaboration from the Workplace Initiative by Understood on the Employing Abilities at Work certification.
"The certification is designed for HR professionals and managers that are unclear on disabilities, accommodations and how to manage in the workplace," said Burr. "The program provides real-world scenarios and guidance on how to approach a variety of disabilities in the workplace. The content was especially timely as we are seeing a return to work during COVID-19."
