Burr Presents at Ithaca College

Elmira, NY (02/27/2019) — Matthew Burr, assistant professor of business administration, recently presented at Ithaca College (IC) as part of a professional development series for students.

While at IC, Burr hosted several one-on-one meetings with students to assist them with career advice and resume tips. Also on his visit, Burr had the opportunity to share his "HR Journey" during a lunch talk.

Among other accomplishments, Burr has had several articles published through the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) on varying topics such as management tips, relationship building, and human resources. His most recent article, Viewpoint: Resolving Conflicts, Building Relationships (and Competencies), provides tips on resolving workplace conflicts and how to build or sustain good relationships.
