Burr Presents on National Human Resource Management Webinar
Elmira, NY (05/06/2020) — Assistant Professor of Business Administration, Matt Burr, recently presented on a national webinar as a volunteer leader for the Society of Human Resource Management. The webinar examined the COVID-19 response which the New York State SHRM Leadership Board put in place for each NYS chapter.
"I shared best practices including; our recent district webinar on EAP services, monthly district calls, weekly NYS SHRM calls, transitioning the SHRM Exam Certification Prep Class from in-class to an online format and discussed the upcoming summer and fall 2020 SHRM Exam Prep Class at Elmira College," explained Burr.
There were an estimated 500 volunteer leaders from across the country on the call. Additionally, leaders from several other states shared their best practices.
