Campus LISP Club Awarded Bronze Chapter Honors
Elmira, NY (05/22/2019) — The Elmira College League of Intern Pathologists (LISP) Club was recently awarded the 2019 Bronze Chapter Honors from the National Student Speech Language Hearing Association (NSSLHA).
Thanks to the efforts of LISP, the club was able to help assist NSSLHA:
Increase awareness of communication sciences and disorders (CSD) on campus and within the community
Increase advocacy efforts by sending letters to state and federal legislators
Provide scholarships to students in CSD programs by contributing to the ASH Foundation's NSSLHA Scholarship
National NSSLHA Chapter Honors are awarded to affiliated NSSLHA chapters that demonstrate an outstanding effort to support National NSSLHA's mission to inspire, empower, and support students in communication sciences and disorders programs.
