CRC Basic Chemistry Prize Awarded

Elmira, NY (05/25/2021) — The CRC Basic Chemistry Prize is presented to an outstanding freshman student studying chemistry, based on performance in both the lecture and lab classes. This year's recipient is Devon Parente '24.

"I am truly honored and humbled to receive the CRC Basic Chemistry Prize!," said Parente "This award reflects my hard work and the passion that I have for chemistry, which is my favorite field of study and what I want to pursue as a career."

Parente is a member of Beta Beta Beta Biology Honor Society and plans on working in scientific research in the future.
