EC Mock Trial Continues Competition Success

Elmira, NY (12/18/2019) — The Elmira College Mock Trial Team continued their competition success, winning several awards at the recent Bomber Blitz Invitational at Ithaca College on December 7-8. The team, now in its second year, faced a number of seasoned competitors and walked away with Best Witness - Molly Garcia '23; Outstanding Attorney - Elizabeth Foster '21; and The Spirit of AMTA Award (recognizing the team that best exemplifies the ideals of civility, justice, and fair play).

The EC Mock Trial Team is under the leadership of Coach Dr. Daniel N. Clay and the team's captain, Elizabeth Foster '21. The team is extremely excited by their recent competition results and looks to continue that streak of victories again at the Regional Tournament which will take place from February 7-9th at Penn State University.

Team members this season include: Elizabeth Foster '21, Jenna Hoyt '22, Stephanie Krom '22, Amanda Taylor '22, Allison Poppiti '22, Molly Garcia '23, Breanna Adams '23, Ryan Durkee '23, and Sydney Turner '22.
