Elmira College Red Cross Club to Host Summer Blood Drive
Elmira, NY (08/07/2018) — The Red Cross is facing a summer blood and platelet shortage. To help, the Elmira College Red Cross Club is hosting a community blood drive on Wednesday, August 8.
The blood drive, scheduled for 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. in Stephans Lounge in Meier Hall, is open to campus and community members.
"Walk-ins are of course always welcome but it helps the Red Cross to know what they have scheduled prior to arriving on campus," said Matt Guagliardo, EC Red Cross Club advisor.
Donors are invited to arrive anytime during the scheduled drive or to make an appointment for a specific time, online at redcrossblood.org.
