Elmira College Welcomes New Associate Vice President of Advancement

Elmira, NY (09/27/2021) — Wade Hart recently joined Elmira College as the associate vice president of Advancement. He is an accomplished fundraising professional with more than 20 years in the advancement profession with experience in annual giving, major gifts, planned giving and alumni affairs.

Hart's efforts will help the College increase the support it receives from individuals and foundations to achieve long-term sustainability.

"I look forward to meeting and establishing relationships with many of the College's stakeholders and to steward the gifts we receive with care," said Hart. "We will work in partnership with the community to help foster and grow this important and historic institution so that future generations can walk along its Octagon paths and emerge as leaders."

Hailing from Buffalo, NY, Hart was the chief development officer at D'Youville College and major gifts officer at Buffalo State University. He also worked for 11 years in major gifts at Niagara University, which is where he received his master's degree in interdisciplinary studies. He earned his bachelor's in management and public affairs from Indiana University Bloomington.
