Enactus Team Partners with Catholic Charities Domestic Violence Awareness Campaign
Elmira, NY (10/03/2018) — Throughout October, National Domestic Violence Awareness month, Elmira College Enactus is teaming up with Catholic Charities of Chemung and Schuyler Counties to raise awareness of domestic violence in the community. The first event, "Shine the Light on Domestic Violence,"takes place this Saturday, October 6 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., in Eldridge Park.
A banner for the event will be prepared at the Enactus table during Octagon Fair. Students, families, and community members are invited to place handprints, signatures, or supportive messages on the banner, which will be displayed at the "Shine the Light" event that night.
