Johnson Publishes Article in The Urban Review
Elmira, NY (04/29/2020) — Dr. Rebecca Page Johnson, assistant professor of education, recently published an article in The Urban Review, a peer-edited journal that examines issues basic to the improvement of urban schooling and education.
Johnson's article, "Middle Class Motivations and Maneuvers: School Choice and School Assignment in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY," analyzes qualitative data on the school choice process in a large metropolitan area.
Her research included interviews with parents, school officials, and city leaders as well as observations at school events. For more information on the academic journal, click here.
