National Preparedness Month 2019
Elmira, NY (09/04/2019) — As the academic year kicks off at Elmira College, September also marks the start of National Preparedness Month,an initiative to help community members prepare for and react to natural disasters and other potentially dangerous events.
Throughout the month, theCollege share best practices and tips to raise awareness about and strengthen the preparedness of the College's community members. Each week, information and activities will focus on important information aimed at preparing for the unexpected.
- Week One (9/4-9/6): Prevention & Preparation
- Week Two (9/9-9/13): Protection
- Week Three (9/16-9/20): Response & Recovery
- Week Four (9/23-9/27): Elmira College Prepared
Follow the tips, resources, and other helpful information utilizing the hashtags "#PrepareNow," "#NatlPrep," and #ECPrepared, a special hashtag for the final week of the campaign. Follow the College's Instagram and Facebook accounts to learn more.
