Shaw Presents at Northeast Modern Language Association Conference
Elmira, NY (04/19/2019) — Dr. Lauren Shaw, associate professor of Hispanic Studies, recently attended and presented at the Northeast Modern Language Association's (NeMLA) 50th Conference. Shaw presented on her paper Al otro lado del muro, based off of Pao Ortiz' film, as a part of a panel titled "Immigrants of the 21st Century in Spanish and Latin American Film."
The conference was held in Washington, D.C., and lasted four days starting on Thursday, March 21, and concluding on Sunday, March 24, 2019.
