For the second time this season, Elmira College's Katie Granato '19 has garnered United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC) Women's Ice Hockey Player of the Week honors, as announced by the league office on November 13.

The Empire 8 Conference named Elmira College's Henry Cuffee '19 the first E8 Player of the Week and Kyle Kokoskie '22 the Rookie of the Week on November 12. The awards both mark career firsts for the Soaring Eagle duo.

Rachel Katzenberger '19, a senior defensive specialist/libero on the Elmira College women's volleyball team, received special recognition on November 16, as College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) selected her to the Google Cloud Academic All-District First Team.

Defensive stalwarts Liz Shephard '21 and Tina O'Donnell '20 received year-end accolades from the Empire 8 Conference on November 12, as Shephard was named an E8 All-Conference Honorable Mention and O'Donnell was chosen to the Sportswoman of the Year Team.

Two-sport athlete and recent Elmira College graduate, Sarah Hughson '18, has been named one of the record-setting 581 nominees for the prestigious NCAA Woman of the Year Award, as announced by the NCAA office on July 12, 2018. Hughson is one of 170 multi-sport athletes in this year's pool and is among 199 nominees from the Division III level.
