Freshman goaltender Jake Sabourin '21 was named the United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC) Rookie of the Week (2/6/18), his second consecutive weekly accolade from the league and his fourth of the year.

Sarah Hughson was named a First-Team All-American, as announced by the American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA), at the 2018 NCAA Division III Women's Ice Hockey Banquet.

For the first time this season, Elmira College's Katie Granato '19 was named the United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC) Player of the Week (2/8/18).

Anthony Parrucci '20 of the men's ice hockey team and Jeremy Best '19 of the men's volleyball team were recognized as Elmira College Athletes of the Week for the week ending February 4.

Danielle Cleary '18 of the women's basketball team and Ryan McDonough '19 of the men's volleyball team earned Elmira College Athlete of the Week honors for their performances in the week spanning February 5-11.

After picking up two crucial United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC) wins over Nazareth College (3-2) and No. 7/7-ranked Utica College (5-1), Matthew Cuce '20 and Jake Sabourin '21 both received weekly accolades from the league office (1/31/18). In addition to being tabbed the conference Player of the Week, Cuce was also named to the D3hockey.com National Team of the Week. Sabourin received UCHC Goaltender of the Week honors.

Two ice hockey players have been recognized as Elmira College Athletes of the Week, as second-year forward Matthew Cuce '20 of the men's team and third-year forward Katie Granato '19 of the women's team have garnered the honor for the week ending January 21. The award is the third of its kind for both Cuce and Granato so far in 2017-18.

Elmira College women's ice hockey seniors Sarah Hughson '18 and Rachel Grampp '18 received national recognition for their part in last weekend's series sweep of Utica College, as the duo was named to the D3hockey.com National Team of the Week.

Crawford was named the Goalie of the Week for the second time this season, while Adams was tabbed as the Rookie of the Week.

A trio of Soaring Eagles were named to the D3hockey.com National Team of the Week (11/28/17) in recognition of their outstanding performances for the No. 2/2-ranked Elmira College women's ice hockey team against a pair of top-10 opponents at the 2017 UNO Classic over the weekend.

The Empire 8 Conference recognized a pair of Elmira College cross country runners for displaying exceptional sportsmanship during the 2017 fall season, as Jonathan Muller '18 of the men's team and Kaitlyn Ritz '18 of the women's team were named to the E8 Sportsman and Sportswoman of the Year Teams, respectively.

Elmira College's Devyn Gilman '21 was tabbed the United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC) Women's Ice Hockey Rookie of the Week (11/21), after leading the No. 3/3-ranked Soaring Eagles to a pair of conference wins against Stevenson University.

For the second time in her Elmira College career, junior forward Rachel Vespucci '19 has been crowned the Empire 8 Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Monday, November 20.

Two Elmira College student athletes garnered Empire 8 year-end recognitions.

Justin Porrett '19 of the men's basketball team and Rachel Vespucci '19 of the women's basketball team have been chosen as Elmira College Athletes of the Week in recognition of their efforts on the hardwood in the opening week of the 2017-18 season.

Donte Donegal '18 highlighted the Elmira College men's soccer team's three Empire 8 Conference award winners by garnering his third E8 All-Conference selection, and was joined by first-time All-Conference honoree Rodney Smith '19 and Sportsman of the Year Levi Ahl '21.

With the conclusion of the 2017 season, Jordyn Rousselle '18 and Lindsay Proulx '18 have been recognized by the Empire 8 Conference with year-end awards. Rousselle was voted by the league's coaches as an E8 All-Conference Honorable Mention selection, while Proulx was tabbed as EC's representative on the Sportswoman of the Year Team.

Megan Fitzgerald '18 and Emily Green '18 of the Elmira College women's tennis team were honored by the Empire 8 Conference on November 8 with year-end awards. Fitzgerald was named to the Empire 8 All-Conference Second Team for singles, while Green was tabbed as Elmira's representative on the conference's Sportsmanship Team.
