Academic Paper Accepted for Publication
Abigail Carr '16 recently co-authored a paper with Dr. Amarendra Sharma, Associate Professor of Economics, that has been accepted for publication in the International Journal of Applied Economics. The paper, titled, "Food Insecurity and Standardized Test Scores," explores the impact of food insecurity on students' standardized test scores by using a state-level panel data from the United States.

Members of the 2016 Elmira College graduating class were recognized with multiple honors and prizes, including induction into Phi Beta Kappa, the oldest national honors organization, and officer commissioning with the United States military. The Class of 2016 also included more than 125 graduates receiving summa cum laude, magna cum laude, and cum laude honors.
