Emerson Liscum Diven Prize

Each year the Emerson Liscum Diven Prize is presented to an Elmira College senior who has high academic achievement and has contributed the most scholarly work in biology. The Prize is awarded on the recommendation of the Department of Biology.

Each year, one student is awarded the Katheleen Arnott Watters '65 Prize, given by Mrs. Watters, a member of the Class of 1965. The Kathleen Arnott Watters '65 Humanities Prize recognizes an exceptional graduating student in English Literature or History whose work exemplifies the ideals of scholarly inquiry and demonstrates a passion for the humanities.

Student Honored With Dr. Kathleen Sward Prize

Each year, one Elmira College student receives an endowed award that recognizes the student's ability to demonstrate academic and clinical excellence in nursing. This award is the Dr. Kathleen Sward Prize, which was established and endowed by Dr. and Mrs. Edward Grandt. Dr. Kathleen Sward was the first Director of the Elmira College Nurse Education Program. Dr. Grandt, a highly respected physician and former trustee of the College, was instrumental in the development of the Elmira College Nurse Education Program.
