Recently,11 Elmira College students completed the Soaring Higher Leadership program. Over the course of 10 weeks, the students learned about the importance of knowing their values and skills, listened to speakers talk about their leadership journeys, and helped each other grow as leaders.

On Friday, January 31, and Saturday, February 1, the Empire 8 Conference hosted its annual Student-Athlete Leadership Summit at the Woodcliff Hotel and Spa in Fairport, New York. Four Elmira College student-athletes participated.

The Brilliant Class of 2019 recently celebrated the annual Graduating Class Reception in Tifft Lounge on March 22. The celebration included presentations of the Alumnae and Alumni Rings.

Of the 35 student-athletes who attended the 2018 Empire 8 Conference Summit, which was held at the Woodcliff Hotel and Spa in Fairport, New York, on January 26 and 27, Elmira College was represented by Kurt Bartholomew '18 (men's soccer), Nick Cottone '19 (baseball), Macy Huntley '19 (women's lacrosse), and Allie LoPresti '19 (women's soccer).
