Each year in the Term II Student Art Show, select artwork from students is displayed in the George Waters Art Gallery. This year's pieces include paintings, ceramics, sculptures, drawings, prints, and videos.

The Center for Mark Twain Studies (CMTS) announced this year's winners of the "Portraying Mark Twain" art competition. In its ninth year, the annual competition is open to all Elmira College (EC) students, regardless of academic major. Four final images were selected for their representations of Mark Twain, his literature, or aspects of his life in Elmira and at Quarry Farm.

During the annual Elmira College Senior and Student Art Shows, four students were awarded prizes for their artwork.

The Elmira College Theatre recently performed Love/Sick, by John Cariani, an "unromantic comedy" consisting of nine short plays that explore the pain and joy that come with being in love.

Elmira College Theatre closed the 2020-2021 academic year with the musical, "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown."

The Elmira College Theatre program and Chemung County Historical Society will present a series of Ghostly Readings, read by EC students, throughout the month of November.

Inspired by the Golden Age of Radio, the Elmira College Theatre Fall 2020 productions will feature radio dramas from the 1940's.

Recently a group of Elmira College students enrolled in the "Contemporary Latina Literature" course created an exhibit titled, "Latina Authors Project." The project combines the study of notable Latina authors and the creative talent from students who portrayed them through art.

Lucy Shemo '21 is the Featured Student Artist in Gibson Theatre Lobby, March 10-24.

The Elmira College Theatre Program continued its 2019-2020 season with The Wolves, a 2017 Pulitzer Prize finalist written by Sarah DeLappe, featuring several Elmira College students.
