Elmira College released its Dean's List for Academic Achievement for the Fall 2016 Term. The Dean's List recognizes students that have a grade point average of 3.6 or higher.

More than 30 students were inducted into the Beta Beta Beta National Biological Honor Society during a ceremony on Sunday, January 29, 2017.

Two students, accompanied by Dr. Todd Egan, Associate Professor of Biology, recently presented their research at the Sigma Xi Annual Meeting and Student Research Conference in Atlanta, Georgia.

Abigail Carr '16 recently co-authored a paper with Dr. Amarendra Sharma, Associate Professor of Economics, that has been accepted for publication in the International Journal of Applied Economics. The paper, titled, "Food Insecurity and Standardized Test Scores," explores the impact of food insecurity on students' standardized test scores by using a state-level panel data from the United States.

Twenty-one Elmira College senior nursing majors were inducted into the Rho Gamma Chapter of the Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International earlier this month. Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI) recognizes individuals with excellence in scholarship, leadership, and service to improve the health of people throughout the world. STTI provides scholarship, leadership and service resources and support in 90 countries.

Empire 8 Women's Golf All-Conference Awards

The Fall 2016 Term is underway and Elmira College is pleased to welcome students to campus!

Elmira College third-year forward, Michael Bryant '18, was crowned the Empire 8 Conference Men's Soccer Player of the Week for the week ending September 18th, as announced Monday by the league office.

Michael Bryant '18 of the men's soccer team and Natalie Schieder '19 of the women's volleyball team were named Elmira College Athletes of the Week.

Audrey Clarke '18 of Churchville was named both Empire 8 Conference Women's Golf Player of the Week and Elmira College Athlete of the Week on Monday, September 12, 2016.

Misi Glover '19 of the men's soccer team have been awarded for his outstanding effort over the last week by earning Elmira College Athlete of the Week.

With the first week of competition in the 2016-17 academic year now in the books, its time to award our first Elmira College Athletes of the Week. Those honors go to Megan Fitzgerald '18 of the women's tennis team and Caitlin Malanowski '20 of the women's cross country team.

The Elmira College Department of Athletics recognized the achievements made by its student-athletes and staff members throughout the 2015-16 academic year during the 46th Annual Athletics Award Banquet, held in Campus Center Dining Hall on May 23, 2016.

Members of the 2016 Elmira College graduating class were recognized with multiple honors and prizes, including induction into Phi Beta Kappa, the oldest national honors organization, and officer commissioning with the United States military. The Class of 2016 also included more than 125 graduates receiving summa cum laude, magna cum laude, and cum laude honors.
