Elmira College Dean's List for Continuing Education

Elmira College released its Dean's List for Academic Achievement for students in the Continuing Education Division for the 2019-2020 academic year. Part-time undergraduate students who have, during the current academic year, achieved a grade point average of 3.600 or higher at the end of the Spring Term and who have completed at least twelve graded credits during the current academic year are placed on the Dean's List for the Division of Continuing Education.

Student Honored With Dr. Kathleen Sward Prize

Each year, one Elmira College student receives an endowed award that recognizes the student's ability to demonstrate academic and clinical excellence in nursing. This award is the Dr. Kathleen Sward Prize, which was established and endowed by Dr. and Mrs. Edward Grandt. Dr. Kathleen Sward was the first Director of the Elmira College Nurse Education Program. Dr. Grandt, a highly respected physician and former trustee of the College, was instrumental in the development of the Elmira College Nurse Education Program.
