The Elmira College CRC Basic Chemistry Prize is presented to an outstanding first-year student studying chemistry, based on performance in both the lecture and lab classes.

Elmira College released its Dean's List for Academic Achievement for the Fall 2023 Term. The Dean's List recognizes full-time undergraduate students who were registered for at least 12 computable credit hours and who earned a term grade point average of 3.6 or higher.

The Friends of the Chemung River Watershed recently thanked Elmira College students for volunteering to clean trash and debris along the Chemung River by presenting them with a Volunteer Award. The students presented projects from the natural and social sciences, delving into soil erosion, international student difficulties, the genetics of neurodevelopmental disabilities, classroom teacher practices, and more.
