After providing all of the offense for the Elmira College men's soccer team last week, the Empire 8 Conference selected senior Adam Nichols '20 as the E8 Offensive Player of the Week.

Juniors Janie Kempf '21 of the field hockey team and Matt McGaugh '21 of the men's golf team have been named Elmira College Athletes of the Week for the week ending September 8.

Following the first weekend of action in the 2019 fall sports season, Tina O'Donnell '20 of the field hockey team and Adam Nichols '20 of the men's soccer team have been named Elmira College Athletes of the Week.

The Elmira College men's and women's ice hockey programs continued to earn recognition for outstanding academic achievement by the team's respective student - athletes, as 14 skaters were announced as American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) All-American Scholars on August 29, 2019.

For the second consecutive season, the nationally-ranked Elmira College women's ice hockey team has had 15 or more student-athletes recognized by the United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC) office for academic achievement, as 16 skaters were named to the 2018-19 UCHC All-Academic Team on July 30.

The Elmira College men's ice hockey team placed 17 student-athletes on the 2018-19 rendition of the United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC) All-Academic Team, as announced by the conference office on July 30.

The Empire 8 Conference honored 77 Elmira College student-athletes on its President's List, which recognizes student-athletes who earned a grade-point average of 3.75 or higher during the spring term. In addition, a total of 11 EC teams were named to the E8 All-Academic Team for possessing a GPA of 3.20 and higher.

Elmira College recently named the 2019 recipient of the Joseph Robinson Prize. The Prize was endowed by Grace Robinson Billard, 1902 Class President, in memory of her brother and in order to recognize an outstanding student in philosophy and religion.

The Elmira College women's lacrosse program landed two student-athletes - Macy Huntley '19 and Kayla Cutting '20 - on the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA)/Zag Sports Division III Academic Honor Roll.

The recipient must be an international relations or political science major with a related field of study such as foreign languages, economics, history, or business.

The Prize is awarded annually to a senior who has high academic achievement and has contributed the most scholarly work in biology. The Prize is awarded on the recommendation of the Department of Biology.

Elmira College released its Dean's List for Academic Achievement for students in the Continuing Education Division for the 2018-2019 academic year. Part-time undergraduate students who have, during the current academic year, achieved a grade point average of 3.600 or higher at the end of the Spring Term and who have completed at least twelve graded credits during the current academic year are placed on the Dean's List for the Division of Continuing Education.
