First-year skater Eliza Beaudin '22 of the Elmira College women's ice hockey team was selected as the United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC) Rookie of the Week, as announced by the league office on November 6.

Two members of the Elmira College men's ice hockey team were rewarded for their efforts after leading the Soaring Eagles to a trio of wins early in the season. Junior Connor Powell '20 was crowned the United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC) Co-Player of the Week and sophomore Jake Sabourin '21 received Goalie of the Week accolades on November 6.

Two-sport athlete and recent Elmira College graduate, Sarah Hughson '18, has been named one of the record-setting 581 nominees for the prestigious NCAA Woman of the Year Award, as announced by the NCAA office on July 12, 2018. Hughson is one of 170 multi-sport athletes in this year's pool and is among 199 nominees from the Division III level.
